|
Project expenditure financed by sources of eligible private or public funds other than the main source of programme funding. Money from private funds originates from private enterprise.

|
The amount of extra benefit in terms of outputs gained as a result of a particular identified input to the project.

Additionality
|
A fundamental principal of public funding: a project should achieve things that would not have happened without it. The extent to which an activity is undertaken on a larger scale, takes place at all, or earlier, or within a given geographical area as a result of the programme.
